Test Manager (m/f/d)

You keep the overview when many teams are testing and the go-live date is set. You plan, control and report until the business signs off.

Your tasks

  • Create the test strategy and test plan, risk-based and agreed with the business and IT
  • Coordinate test teams from the business, IT and vendors
  • Control test execution and defect management, keeping deadlines and quality in view
  • Report regularly to project leadership and management and flag risks early
  • Prepare sign-offs and file evidence so that audit and supervisors can follow it
  • Introduce and use test management tools such as Jira with Xray, TestRail or ALM

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in test management or test coordination for larger IT projects
  • ISTQB certification, at least Foundation Level (or willingness to obtain it with us)
  • Confident with both traditional and agile delivery models
  • Clear communication with the business, development and management
  • Very good German and good English

Nice to have

  • Experience in banking, insurance or rail
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as DORA or MaRisk
